BIO:
I am a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Pennsylvania (License #PS017813) in full-time private practice.
I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and my Masters (M.A.) and Doctorate (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University. I completed my internship and post-doctoral fellowship at Pennsylvania Hospital, an APA-approved training program. Prior to entering my graduate training I worked as a preschool teacher and had coursework in Early Childhood Education.
During my internship and postdoctoral fellowship I honed my skills providing outpatient therapy to children, adolescents and adults, conducted psychological evaluations, provided services to psychiatric inpatients in acute crisis, and treated patients and family members struggling with a diagnosis of cancer or chronic illness. As a fellow, I concentrated on further developing my expertise working with children and adolescents, receiving specialized training in treating trauma and anxiety in children. I also held the leadership role of Triage Coordinator for psychological services at the Abramson Cancer Center and co-led a women's cancer psychotherapy group.
After completing my training I spent time as a staff psychologist at a local community mental health center working with children, adolescents, and adults and providing supervision to Clinical Psychology trainees.
